Insurance Coverage
There are many insurance companies that provide coverage for acupuncture. If you do not know if you have coverage for acupuncture please call your insurance company to verify if you have benefits. If you do have coverage Interventional Pain Consultants will file your claim as a courtesy to you. All of your usual copayments and deductibles will apply to your acupuncture visits.
If you have had an injury sustained in an automobile accident you do have coverage for acupuncture services and Interventional Pain Consultants will bill your insurance company directly.
Medicare does not cover acupuncture at this time. There are secondary policies that do offer coverage. Please check your plan. Interventional Pain Consultants does not bill secondary plans. We can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement.
